Refund policy

Refund & Return Policy

(Effective Date: October 2025)

1. General Policy

All sales made through GRIM SHOP JAPAN are considered final.
We strive to ensure the accuracy and quality of every product shipped.
Due to the nature of trading cards and randomized items, returns or refunds are only accepted under limited circumstances as outlined below.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to this Refund & Return Policy.

 


 

2. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

The following categories of products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Randomized items such as Mystery Packs, Lucky Boxes, or Gacha products

  • Opened or used trading cards, boxes, or packs

  • Subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., card rarity, value, or pull results)

  • Damage or loss caused during international shipping or customs inspection

  • Items purchased through Buyee Japan or Tenso.com that follow their own refund policy

 


 

3. Eligible Returns and Refunds

Refunds or replacements will only be granted if:

  1. The product received is different from what was ordered, or

  2. The product was severely damaged prior to shipment due to Seller error.

To qualify for review:

  • The customer must provide a complete unboxing video recorded at the moment the parcel is opened.

  • The claim must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery confirmation.

  • The video must clearly show the unopened parcel, shipping label, and the entire opening process.

Claims submitted without valid unboxing evidence or outside the time limit will not be accepted.

 


 

4. Return Process

If your claim is approved, we will provide instructions for the return shipment.
Returned items must be shipped in their original condition and packaging.

  • Return Shipping Costs:

    • If the Seller is at fault → GRIM SHOP JAPAN will cover the shipping cost.

    • If the Buyer is at fault (e.g., mistaken purchase, refusal to accept) → The Buyer bears all return costs.

Refunds will be processed only after the returned item has been received and verified by our team.

 


 

5. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are typically issued within 10–15 business days after return verification.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase (e.g., PayPal, Wise, credit card).
We do not issue refunds in cash or to third-party accounts.

 


 

6. Lost or Damaged Shipments

Once an order is handed over to Buyee Japan, Tenso.com, FedEx, or DHL,
the shipping carrier assumes full responsibility for delivery.
In the event of loss or damage in transit, the customer must file a claim directly with the carrier.
We will cooperate with carrier investigations but cannot guarantee compensation.

 


 

7. Customs and Refused Packages

If a package is delayed, returned, or confiscated by customs authorities, we cannot issue a refund.
Refusal to pay import duties or taxes will be considered a customer refusal, and related costs will not be reimbursed.

 


 

8. Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled or modified once payment has been completed.
Exceptions apply only if the product becomes unavailable before shipment due to Seller error.

All refund and return inquiries must be submitted through the official contact form on our website.
We do not accept refund requests via email, social media, or third-party platforms.

10. Acceptance of Policy

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Refund & Return Policy.
