TERMS OF SERVICE
(Effective Date: October 2025)
1. Introduction
This Terms of Service (“Agreement”) governs all sales, transactions, and use of the online shop operated by GRIM SHOP JAPAN (“the Seller”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or purchasing from our website, you (“the Buyer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by this Agreement and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase products from GRIM SHOP JAPAN.
You are responsible for ensuring that the import, possession, or resale of trading cards in your country complies with local laws and regulations.
3. Products and Randomized Packs
Our products include but are not limited to single trading cards, sealed booster boxes, packs, and “Mystery Packs” (randomized products).
All Mystery Packs are random in nature, and the exact contents or card rarity cannot be guaranteed.
The Buyer acknowledges and agrees that:

The value or rarity of cards contained in any Mystery Pack is not guaranteed.

Purchases of random products are final and non-refundable based on dissatisfaction, rarity, or subjective valuation.

Product images are for reference only; actual products may differ in packaging, print, or language version.
4. Orders and Payments
Orders are accepted only through our official Shopify-based website.
All prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY) unless otherwise specified.
Payment methods are limited to those supported by Shopify and its authorized processors (e.g., credit card, PayPal, Wise, etc.).
We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion if fraudulent activity or system abuse is suspected.
5. Shipping and Delivery
(a) Primary Shipping Partners
We primarily ship via Buyee Japan and Tenso.com (転送コム).
For corporate customers or large-scale wholesale orders, FedEx or DHL may be used under separate arrangements.
(b) Risk of Loss and Transfer of Responsibility
All risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer once the goods are handed over to Buyee, Tenso.com, FedEx, or DHL.
After shipment, any loss, delay, damage, or customs-related issues are the sole responsibility of the carrier and Buyer.
(c) Import Duties and Customs
All international shipments are subject to customs clearance procedures, which may cause delays beyond our control.
The Buyer is fully responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by the destination country.
6. Anti-Fraud & Recording Policy
To ensure transparency and prevent fraudulent claims, the Seller records all packaging and shipment processes on video prior to dispatch.
In the event of a claim regarding damaged or missing items, the Buyer must provide a complete unboxing video recorded at the time of opening the parcel.
Claims submitted without unboxing video evidence will not be accepted.
All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery confirmation, along with the unboxing footage and a description of the issue.
The Seller reserves the right to reject any claim that cannot be verified through recorded evidence.
7. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are accepted only under the following conditions:

The received item is materially different from what was ordered.

The item arrived severely damaged due to Seller error or mishandling prior to shipment.
Refunds will not be issued for the following:

Randomized items such as Mystery Packs or blind boxes.

Subjective dissatisfaction with the product’s contents, value, or pull ratio.

Damage caused during international shipping or customs inspection.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer unless the Seller explicitly acknowledges fault.
All approved refunds are processed only after the returned item has been received and verified.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GRIM SHOP JAPAN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products, including but not limited to:

Delay or failure in delivery caused by carriers or customs.

Product loss, theft, or seizure by customs.

Discrepancies in product quality resulting from manufacturer defects.

Buyer’s misuse or mishandling after delivery.
Once items have been transferred to Buyee, Tenso.com, FedEx, or DHL, the Seller’s responsibility ceases entirely.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including product images, brand logos, graphics, and descriptions, is owned by GRIM SHOP JAPAN or its licensors.
Reproduction, redistribution, or unauthorized commercial use of our content is strictly prohibited.
The names Pokémon, One Piece, and Yu-Gi-Oh! are trademarks of their respective rights holders.
GRIM SHOP JAPAN is an independent reseller and has no direct affiliation with those trademark owners.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is processed in accordance with Shopify’s Privacy Policy and applicable Japanese data protection laws.
We may collect and use Buyer information solely for the purposes of order processing, shipping, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
Sensitive payment information is handled exclusively by Shopify’s secure payment processors.
11. Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions.
12. Amendments
GRIM SHOP JAPAN reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time without prior notice.
The most recent version of this Agreement shall apply to all subsequent transactions.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Sendai District Court, Japan.
All parties irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of that court.

All inquiries related to orders, refunds, or legal matters must be submitted through the official inquiry form available on our website.
Direct email correspondence is not accepted unless explicitly authorized by GRIM SHOP JAPAN.
